A round of golf led this couple to an unexpected new chapter at Fairway Pines, the 55+ active adult neighborhood within The Highlands in Porter, TX. Although they already lived in another 55+ community, a visit to the golf course introduced them to Fairway Pines and ultimately inspired them to buy a Caldwell Homes home.
Having worked as an engineer in the construction industry throughout his career, he understood what to look for and recognized the quality of the home. They now enjoy Friday tee times, new friendships, club gatherings, and an active lifestyle in a community that immediately stood out.
After retiring, this couple moved from another 55+ community to Fairway Pines, where good friends had settled the year before. Golf first drew them to The Highlands, but Caldwell Homes won them over with its reputation and a model featuring a clear view from the front door through to the backyard.
They are now extending their patio so friends can gather and enjoy their view. Each morning between 5:30 and 6:30, they walk two and a half miles along a different route before enjoying the pool and lazy river.
